Routes to St.-Michaels-Heim

 

The nearest bus stop is “Herthastraße” (M 29 and Bus 110). Walk back some meters to the crossroads,

then turn left into “Herthastraße” and follow it for about 5 minutes until you reach the street “Bismarckallee”. St.-Michaels-Heim is opposite, on the

left hand side, at the corner. You reach the premises under a wide doorway. The reception is at the right of the entrance to the main building.

 

Airport BER Terminal 1 und 2 (ca. 70 Minuten)

From BER airport, take the airport express (FEX) to Ostkreuz and change there to the S-Bahn S41. Twelve stations to S-Bahn station Halensee. There, take bus M 29 (direction Roseneck) and get off at Herthastraße. Then continue as above.

 

Train Station - Zoologischer Garten

In front of the station, take the Bus 110 (in the direction of “Oskar-Helene-Heim”) and alight at “Herthastraße”.

Then continue as described above.

 

Central Station

Take the S Bahn S 5, S 7 or S 75 to the S and U Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten. Leave the train at Zoologischer Garten and take the 110 bus (destination U Bahn station Oskar-Helene-Heim). Leave the bus at the bus stop Herthastraße. See above for further directions.

 

Central Bus Station - ZOB

Take bus 143 in direction Schöneberg Planetarium until Rathenauplatz.

Cross the street and change to bus M 29 in direction

Roseneck until Herthastraße. See above.

 

Train Station Spandau

Take the S Bahn station Zoologischer Garten. Leave the

train at Zoologischer Garten and take the 110 bus

(destination U Bahn station Oskar-Helene-Heim). Leave

the bus at the bus stop Herthastraße. See above

forfurther directions. Please note that the last 110 bus

leaves at 11.54 pm. Alternatively you can take the S-Bahn from Spandau to Westkreuz and then change to the Ringbahn. Leave the train at Halensee and continue with the M 29 bus. See above for further directions.

 

Bahnhof Südkreuz

Am Bahnhof Südkreuz gehen Sie auf den oberen Bahnsteig und nehmen die S-Bahnlinie S 41 (Ringbahn) bis zum S-Bahnhof Halensee. Am Ausgang gehen Sie auf die andere Straßenseite und nehmen den Bus M 29 (Richtung Roseneck). Sie fahren 4 Stationen und steigen an der Herthastraße  aus. Dann weiter siehe ganz oben…

Day ticket AB: € 9,50/ABC 10,70 € - valid 24 hours and for all means of transport.

Single ticket: AB per person € 3,20/ABC 4,00 € for all means of transport, valid for 2 hours in one direction.

7-Day-Ticket: AB per person. € 39,00, ABC 46,00 €.

Small Group Ticket AB up to five people: € 29,00

Welcome-Card (free travel on all public transport

services for 1 adult and up to 3 children): 2- or 3-day ticket, from € 25,00 for 2 days. It is also available for 4, 5 or 6 days and as a special version for the Museum Island.

This card is valid for all means of transport and offers additional discounts at theaters, museums, city tours, etc.

Travelling by car from Dresden:

Follow the signs to Berlin-Zentrum (Zoo). Leave the motorway at the exit Kurfürstendamm. Turn right and then left at the petrol station and carry on to Rathenauplatz. Drive past the Cadillac sculpture. Turn right into the Bismarckallee at the second set of traffic lights. Drive for about 500 metres. The St.-Michaels-Heim lies on the corner of Herthastraße on the right. Parking is free.

Travelling by car from the north or the south Leave the motorway at the exit Kurfürstendamm. Get into the right hand lane. Turn right at the small roundabout with the cadillac sculpture and into theHubertusallee. Turn right into the Bismarckallee at the second set of traffic lights. Drive for about 500 metres.

The St.-Michaels-Heim lies on the corner of Herthastraße on the right.

 

Arrival by car from the north:

Freeway exit Kurfürstendamm, at the top of the exit get into the right lane and at the traffic circle take the first exit right into Hubertusallee. At the second traffic light at Bismarckplatz turn right into Bismarckallee. You drive about 500 m and after Herthastraße you will find our premises on the right.

 

Arrival by car from the south:

You enter Berlin from the south via highway 115 (AVUS). On the AVUS you will find the following signs:

- Kreuz Zehlendorf /Berlin Zentrum

- Zentrum Charlottenburg

At the triangle Funkturm you take the exit

"100 Dresden - Wilmersdorf - Kurfürstendamm". At the top of the exit ramp, get into the right lane and take the first exit right at the traffic circle into Hubertusallee. At the second traffic light at Bismarckplatz turn right into Bismarckallee. You drive about 500 m and after Herthastraße you will find our premises on the right.

 

Parking is free.
